What go.weave remembers, and what it does not.
go.weave is currently being tested as a pilot. A public profile can be opened without giving go.weave access to your address book or quietly collecting your contact details.
Profile visits
When a profile is opened, the service records the profile, current occasion where applicable, an anonymous browser session identifier, visit count, browser user agent and timestamp. It can also record deliberate actions such as saving a contact, opening a website, copying an introduction or starting a request.
Requests and enquiries
Some profiles offer tailored next steps, such as a casting enquiry, mermaid class, capabilities request or conflict check. If you submit a request, the contact details and message you choose to provide are stored so the profile owner can respond.
For child-related enquiries, please provide only the information needed to understand the request. Do not include a child's full name or unnecessary personal information.
Introductions
If you use the optional introduction tool without creating a living connection, the name or organisation you type is used to prepare the message. go.weave does not send it automatically. You decide whether to continue in email or WhatsApp and whether to send the message.
Living connections
If you deliberately choose Connect, go.weave creates an account-backed relationship between you and the other person. Shared identity fields can then stay current when the person updates them. Shared encounter facts, such as when the connection began, may also be retained.
Private relationship notes remain separate from the other person's shared identity and are visible only to the person who owns those notes.
Browser storage
The public experience uses local browser storage to recognise a return visit on the same browser and create an anonymous session identifier. You can clear this using your browser's site-data controls.
Third-party services
Following an external website or social link, or continuing into email or WhatsApp, moves you to that third-party service and its own privacy terms.
Pilot status
This notice describes the current pilot implementation. A fuller commercial privacy notice, retention policy and operating-entity details will be published before a general commercial launch.
